Dashboard interaction design

UX design, motion design, creating interaction concepts for every possible riding scenario, writing interaction specifications and animation specifications, advising UI/screen designers, implementation of new digital features, implementation of navigation in existing dashboard designs, connecting physical movement (switches on the handlebar) with digital output (screen), creating interaction concepts that match mental models of the users. Ideation on future development of the KTM riding experience and future digital features.

Research

Prototyping new interaction concepts. Usability tests (organisation, setup, execution and analysis). Organising co-creation sessions with users.

Designing for motorcycle displays

My task was to optimise the interaction with the bike and to make the interface of the bike intuitive and easy to control while riding.

Designing for this interaction requires a different focus than for example designing the UX for an app or website. This interface should provide the rider the right information at the right time. Every extra action, move or glare at the screen is related to the riders safety.
